Is my Aquarius ex still in love with me?

4 months ago I broke up with my Aquarius ex. Me being a Cancer I expected myself being the one that wouldn't let go but he will not stop calling or texting me and still wants me. this seems so uncharacteristic of him and Aquarians in general. They usually are detached and forget their past. Have any aquarians experienced any difficult breakups like this? Or is this unique for the water bearers?
