Leaving a horse stable with no drama?

I'm currently at a boarding stable, I don't have any issues there except the fact that my horse keeps getting injured, he gets hurt in both groups of horses they have out there. In one group there's a rowdy gelding that runs through fences. Mares and geldings are not separated. It's really nobody's fault, but as his owner I have to protect him and find him a place that he won't sustain such injuries. It's painful for me with the vet bills and the fact that I got him back from training and have not been able to get on him but a few times. The last one was a skull fracture close to his eye. There's a contract that states that I have to give 30 days notice. I have a feeling this could be a long month... I'll probably take my equipment home as soon as I give notice but I'm unsure if I should.
