Are Taiwan and Tibet their own countries or our they owned by China?

WOW! Taiwan is not an independent country,if Taiwan claimed independence the next big war would start as China would attack them immediately ,and by law we must come to the aid of Taiwan,Tibet is part of China..The U.S has a one China policy,and does not recognize Taiwan as an Independent country.This has kept the peace for a along time.Although China is not happy w/ the 6 bil,arms deal we just gave them.
