it is pretty normal, but i believe that since your boyfriend is doing all these stuff to respect you then you should respect his desires too, and yes if this goes on then eventually your boyfriend will get tired of waiting and lose interest, and he will probably go out and find someone who has the same desires as him, or somewhere close, so be careful!
