Shawn Marion for Jermaine O'Neal trade?

I really don't get how this trade would help any team at all. Jermaine O'Neal is no longer the dominant center he used to be because of wear and tear of injuries. And Marion is minimally effective unless he plays in a fast paced D'Antoni-type offense. But now that I think about the trade, I think the Raptors would benefit more cause they'd get a scorer and a fast player, and it would free Chris Bosh up to play more freely.
