What is happening to the Earth?

What is happening to our Earth? Here so far in 2011 for Australia, we have had 3 cyclones (one being the biggest in our history - only a little bit smaller than hurricane Katrina) Mive devastating floods in QLD and fires. NZ earthquake was devastating, and now Japan. Not to mention all of the other disasters that have probably happened and we haven't heard about. I think we're all going to die in 2012 as the prophets suggest...?
