2000 Volkswagen Jetta electrical shorts?

Have any have this problems. Like coolant temperature works intermitently. Airbag light is on. Speedometer, odometer suddenly stop working. Also a bunch of codes appear related to electrical shorts like P1225 - P1230, P1425, P1472, P1435, P1421. Code P0501Speedmeter malfunction . Is it there any specific place to look. I read somewhere that there was coolant contamination causing this. Is it there a bulleting or something.
